  • Oven
  • Baking tray

  • 2 lb (1kg) Potatoes
  • ¼ cup Olive oil
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Water
  • 2 tablespoons All purpose flour


  • Peel the skin off and cut the potatoes into about 2 inch sizes.

  • Add in a pot, add water to cover the potatoes over 2 inches, add salt and boil the potatoes for 6-8 minutes.
    Don't cook the potatoes to fully done.

  • Drain in a colander, add all purpose flour, shake the potatoes in the colander to give it rough edges then leave it to cool for 5 minutes.
    Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Add the olive oil on a baking tray and heat in the oven for 5 minutes then arrange the potatoes on it. Drizzle more olive oil on the potatoes then put the tray in the oven.
    Bake for thirty five minutes or until they are browned and crisp.
